I’m Giving Away an Android Phone!

Yep, that’s right! I’m giving away a brand new mobile phone with Android OS. I’ll be posting the details this week. Stay tuned for the mechanics! This is really exciting and I bet you’re excited! WoHooOooo!!



Update: Finally I remembered to update this post. I almost forgot about this one. Haha!

Anyway, I need to review the phone first before I’ll give it away. So here’s my very short review! This phone review is really short and you’ll never get bored reading it. This is the shortest review I’ll ever write.

Ok, here it is… My review.

REVIEW: This Android phone is awesome, I have nothing to say because its awesomeness made me speechless.

Yeah! That’s it for the review! It’s really awesome and because it’s awesome, I’ll give it away! So that I can share its awesomeness to others who want to experience an awesome Android phone. This phone is also rare, I didn’t see it displayed in shops or any stores inside the malls I’ve been to.

If you ever want to buy this phone, it’s available at Globe Telecom. You can avail this in both prepaid and postpaid plans! They offer a prepaid kit of this phone at a very low price of P14,900. You can also avail it for only P10,900 for Plan 500, or get it for free if you avail Plan 1800 (It’s not really for free because you need to avail Plan 1800 from Globe, hehe).

But… If you want to get this for free without availing any plans from Globe, you must join my contest! Wooot! Read the mechanics below.

MECHANICS:
1. Deadline of this contest will be on July 10, 2010, 11:59 PM GMT+8.
2. This contest is open to Philippine residents only. If you’re a Filipino living abroad, then you’re NOT qualified to join this contest. But if you’re a foreigner living in the Philippines, you are qualified to join.
3. Only one entry per blogger.
4. Ahmmmmmmmm… You need to leave the link of your entry by posting a comment in this post.
5. Your entry can be very long, or can be very short. There’s no minimum or maximum number of words, as long as you satisfy mechanic number 7.
6. Your entry should have a link back to this post using the anchor text “android phone“. (You can add a nofollow attribute if you want, as long as you’re happy.)
7. In your post you need to answer this question: “Why do you deserve an Android phone?” Your answer should be VERY VERY VERY convincing. You should make me really WANT to give this Android phone to you.

  77. haha fools, meron ng mechanics. one of them, you just have to highlight with your mouse, then you need to print screen then paste it on ms paint then bucket fill to see the 2nd message. im still buffled for the 3rd mechanic

    • Cupcake, Firmware version 1.5. But you can update it anytime to the latest version if you want. hehehe.. di ko ginalaw eh di ko din inupdate. InON ko lang tapos inOFF. hehehe. Di ko talaga sya nagamit. 😯

    I guess the reason why you’d really WANT to give me this phone is that I’ve lost this phone once,…and I believe I deserve to have another one :-S why? Because I don’t have it anymore – I don’t have my Android anymore – not even one. My love affair with this phone is cut short. Hence, I’m using an old Motorola nalang..

    Sigh. I still feel bad whenever I see my Spica’s charger. The other day, it even made me cry again and again..I know it’s weird pero I really feel bad.

    Idagdag mo pa yun feeling na I have to pay for it kahit nawala na siya :(( I’m just a student so goodluck talaga :((

        Yes, my site is currently down due to hardware upgrades from my free web host, since I’m still planning to purchase a domain in the next few months after I have saved enough money. It’ll be up in the next 24 hours. But I still have the copy of my entry in a word document (my back up).
        I tried to search also google to see if I can see the cache page – and yes its been indexed by Google.

        Android Phone

        Dear Beloved Phone,
        You have been great to me for the past 4 years. You were the fruit of my labor, but now it seems that your physical side has faded away (the last part of the keypad is no longer functional and the camera already went dead on me) but big value stays there. In the times of emergencies, you were there to connect me to people I wanted to talk to. My phone, thank you for everything. I believed you needed a break and you needed a company, thus, that is my wish for my upcoming 22nd birthday is an Android Phone. With it my dear phone, I will be able to connect to people more, to be able to capture every moment and share it to the world. That’s my only wish for my birthday. Hopefully it will be granted. It’s not about the physical appearance but it’s the usage.

    I have a very good purpose for it. If I ended on winning this contest, I am going to give it to my mom. So technically, I don’t really deserve the phone (but my mom does, later on you will know why) but since I would give it to her if I win, that makes me as deserving eh? 🙂

    Oh, I swear if I win, I would give it to her. I deeply love my current cellphone right now (Omnia), I think it’s the best phone I’ve ever had. But I just bought it so I don’t have enough money to buy one for mom last Mother’s Day.

    I’m trying to be a good daughter here so help me! 🙂

    Truth is, I was a good daughter way back (Hehe!) and my mom used to have a phone, a pink Nokia 1100. But my little brother lost his phone so he took my mom’s N1100 because well, he needs it more than she does; she’s a very industrious housewife btw. When I bought my Omnia, I gave mom my old phone and my sim that proves I was a good daughter way back pa. 😛

    But when my little sister lost her phone to a mandurukot (shame on you Mr Mandurukot!) my very generous mom gave her phone to my little sister even my old sim. So now wala ng phone si mamita dahil sa mga kapatid ko! Haha

    And I want to win this contest so I can give her a brand new phone and will make it a rule, that it will be hers only! Kahit na mawala pa ang mga phone ng mga kapatid ko kasi meron naman silang mga ipon eh. Kuripot lang.. 🙂

  324. im alvin r. maxino 20yrs of age living in the philippines im dropped out i came from a poor family but it doesn’t matter bcoz im pursuing to finish my college studies to be able to success someday and help my family but for now i stopped due to financial problem. i dont have cellphone for now bcoz i was being ‘holdap’ but after that incident i cant afford to buy a new phone again bcoz of our situations in life .. i hope you will give me a chance to have a phone like this . but if not its ok.. i know god has a plan eventhough he didnt give the best that we see but he will give much better i know ur a nice and kind and warm hearted people i hope you for your kind response in my message thanks and more power to you..

    i’m fanatic with adroid phone.. since lumabas ang mga ito.. promodizer ako.. tama lang para sa pamilya ko ang kita ko kda buwan.. I did try to save money to buy a new android phone.. nglbas pa nga ngayon si myphone ng mga android phone nya.. at ang gnda na para sakin un..
    pero everytime na magssave ako ng money para sa phone ko.. ngkkaroon ng problem about sa family. syempre unahin ko muna family ko kesa new Cp.. laging nggastos..
    kaya inggit na inggit ako sa mga kasamhan ko.. kasi pareho lang kami ng estado sa buhay… eh bakit ako hindi ko mabili ang gusto ko..
    kaya nasasabi ko nalang sa sarili ko na.. “hindi siguro para sakin ang android phone..” puro nalang inggit ang nkikita ko sa tuwing nkakakita ako ng android phone..
    5years ko nag kasi gmit ang phone ko na NOKIA 1208 isang colored basic phone..
    wish ko nalang.. mgkaroon ako ng swerte… para nman makabili na ako ng android phone,,,
